A 1979 Honda CX500 lands in San Diego
It has a Roc City composite roadster seat, Club Man bars and mirrors. Everything else was bought on EBAY.
The seat was covered by a local car upholstery shop. I did the paint job with Duplicolor paints, but a local body shop sprayed on 2 coats of urethane clear which makes it look like a factory job.
I think I kept the spirit of the Cafe Racer culture when I did this project. Everything not needed was taken of, I did it on a low budget, just like a young guy with a low budget would. I’m 66, loved the time period and also had a low budget.
I have always had a soft spot for the CX
Great job Ken
