The “Llandough Flyer”, a 1976 Ducati 860 GTS bevel drive cafe racer.
Built by John Pellew of Taimoshan Cycle Works
After about 3 months of pretty solid work on the bike, including stripping it down and the frame back to bare metal.
I had to chopper the rear subsection to take the new single seat. I managed to acquire from a company in Germany. Then with a stack of other more subtle mods turned it into something pretty special. (well i think so!)
This sexy beast aka the “Llandouph Flyer” was recently sold.
You have to check out his site www.taimoshancycleworks.com and the other café racers he has built.
I myself want to see more of the Thunderbird!!!
